WHY WE NEED HELP

Building Foundations for Learning

The NUGS Basic School Infrastructure Project is a bold step toward eliminating barriers to education in underserved communities. As part of our commitment to accessible and quality basic education, NUGS is spearheading the construction of a 6-unit classroom block at Kanania in the Kassena-Nankana District of the Upper East Region and a 3-unit classroom block at Bitim in the Oti Region.

These infrastructure projects are in direct response to the dire need for safe, conducive learning environments for hundreds of children who currently study under trees, in dilapidated structures, or in overcrowded rooms. Beyond mere construction, this project aims to restore dignity to education, reduce dropout rates, and encourage community participation in educational development.

These 2 projects are currently at 70% completion.
