The NUGS SCHOLARSHIP is thus established with the goal of providing equal educational opportunities and a secure environment free of financial stress and emotions to brilliant/promising but needy Ghanaian students. Financial assistance is provided in the form of a full scholarship, a partial scholarship, housing, fee arrangements, and on-campus work-study or part-time job opportunities for students.

Criteria for Accessing NUGS Scholarship
To be eligible for consideration for the Centralized Scholarship/Bursary Scheme administered by NUGS SCHOLARSHIP BOARD, the applicant must satisfy the following conditions:
- Must be a Ghanaian by birth
- Must have gained admission in a University either locally or internationally on full-time or regular programmes.
- Must not be a beneficiary of another scholarship scheme.
- Must be brilliant as determined by the University.
- Must complete an application form by providing the right information.
