Under the leadership of the Project and Programs Manager, the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) has undertaken a special project aimed at improving access to education for school-aged children in rural communities. The project involves the construction of a 6-unit classroom block equipped with an ICT laboratory and library facilities. The first phase of the project, located in the Kanania Community of the Kasena Nankana West District, is currently underway, located 829km away from the union’s secretariat. This project is a testament to NUGS’ commitment to improving education across the nation and is set to be commissioned soon. The organization hopes that this project will serve as a model for similar initiatives in other communities in need.
