The guidelines emphasize the importance of seeking support from local authorities, university security services, and the NUGS-UK or local Ghanaian community groups if one feels unsafe or is in immediate danger.

Additionally, students are encouraged to maintain regular communication with family, friends, and NUGS-UK, sharing their whereabouts and well-being. NUGS-UK advises against participating in any counter-protests to avoid escalating tensions and stresses the need to remain calm and vigilant during these unsettling times.
