The National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) proudly announces a significant milestone in our global outreach mission with the inauguration of the Italy Chapter of the NUGS Diaspora Bloc, held on Saturday, 15th February 2025 in Rome. This event marks a renewed commitment to deepening student representation and building a strong, united front for Ghanaian students abroad.
The President of NUGS, H.E. Daniel Nii Korley Botchway, led the ceremony and officially swore in the first batch of executives to lead and coordinate the activities of NUGS in Italy. The new team is tasked with galvanizing Ghanaian students in Italy, promoting student welfare, and strengthening connections with NUGS back home.
In line with our broader Diaspora Bloc agenda, NUGS is also excited to formally present the appointed NUGS-France Executives who are now officially recognized to steer the affairs of the Ghanaian student community in France. The executives are as follows:

This coordinated expansion of our Diaspora Chapters reflects NUGS’ unwavering commitment to building a global student movement anchored in unity, advocacy, and development. As our chapters in Europe and across the world grow, we reaffirm our pledge to serve the interests of all Ghanaian students – wherever they may be.
