The leadership of the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) on January 13, 2025, held a strategic meeting with the Turkish Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Huseyin GUNGOR, to strengthen bilateral relations and discuss initiatives aimed at benefiting Ghanaian students and communities.
Key issues discussed during the meeting included Turkish scholarships for Ghanaian students, community water projects in Ghana to benefits studentsβ, support for NUGS on its STEM education project, and business development. These collaborative efforts are expected to significantly impact the academic and social development of Ghanaian students.
The NUGS delegation was led by the President, H.E. Daniel Korley Botchway, and included the Secretary for International Relations, Frimpong Enock Kwabena; Secretary for Finance, Eric Asamoah Yirenkyi; Business Development Manager, Agyei Peprah; and Chairperson of the International Relations Committee, Mawuli Tsikata.
This engagement signals a promising future as NUGS continues to explore and establish global partnerships to advance the interests of Ghanaian students.
