On 1st June 2022, the National Union of Ghana Students partnered with the Ministry of Energy to organize the highly anticipated Stakeholders Forum with Student leaders on National Energy Transition Plan.
The hall day event gathered close to 450 participants including stakeholders in the private and public energy sector as well as various energy enthusiasts and students from diverse institutions who were taken through the Renewable Energy Master plan by the Energy Transition committee, which was much centered on renewable energy, the headway to boost Ghana’s energy production and distribution as well as reducing fossil production and carbon emissions. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions on the master plan as well as other related questions and were enlightened on issues raised.
The success of this forum is indeed a sign of good things to come as the implementation of the National Energy Transition Plan is set to begin soon. The leadership of the union wishes to use this opportunity to thank all who contributed to making this event a memorable and successful one.
