The National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) is proud to announce that our esteemed President, Mr. Daniel Oppong Kyeremeh represented Ghana at the 46th Session of UNESCO’s prestigious World Heritage Young Professionals Forum 2024. The forum is scheduled from 13th to 23rd July in India, under the theme *”World Heritage in the 21st Century: Building Capacities and Exploring Opportunities for Youth.”*
Accompanying Mr Kyeremeh are other distinguished members of the Ghanaian delegation: Mr Richmond Amponsah, Secretary for Finance, Miss Bridget Bansah, Secretary for Programs and Projects, Miss Yvonne Osei Adobea, SRC President of KNUST and a student leader from the University of Mines and Technology (UMAT).
The President and his delegation are joining other young professionals from around the globe in engaging discussions to deepen their understanding of the global concepts of World Heritage and Sustainable Development. They will also have the unique opportunity to familiarize themselves with India’s rich local heritage and its management, guided by both local and international experts.
During their stay, the Ghanaian delegation is scheduled for several educative tours and networking sessions, aimed at forging stronger ties and gathering insights that will benefit NUGS and its broader mission. These activities will culminate in a presentation of their declaration on the 46th session.
