The National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS), under the leadership of His Excellency Kyeremeh Oppong Daniel, has demonstrated its commitment to education by donating essential examination materials to Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in the Kwabre East Municipality.
The donation, which took place on July 4th-5th, 2024, benefited students from the following basic schools in the district:
– Ahwiaa M/A JHS
– Medema M/A JHS
– Asennua M/A Presby JHS
• Asonomaso Presby JHS
– Adwumam M/A JHS
– Baamang M/A JHS
The donation consisted of:
– Pens and pencils
– Erasers and sharpeners
– Mathematical sets
– Other essential stationery items
This initiative aims to alleviate some of the burden on students and their families in acquiring examination materials, thereby supporting the academic endeavors of BECE candidates in the Kwabre East District. This gesture demonstrates NUGS’ unwavering commitment to empowering students and contributing to the development of Ghana’s education system.
