On Monday, 24th February 2025, NUGS successfully hosted a Studentsβ Dialogue on Education Reforms as part of the ongoing National Education Forum (NEF) at AH Hotel, Accra.
The engagement brought together all NUGS Bloc Studentsβ Unions and other representatives, including NAHSAG, TTAG, USAG, GRASAG, GUPS, PUSAG, GNUTS, GARSRC, and ARSRC.
The sessions provided a platform for student leaders to deliberate on key reforms in infrastructure, quality education, regulation and accountability, education financing, and research & data.
We were honored to have the Minister for Education, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, grace the occasion, reaffirming the governmentβs commitment to inclusive and student-centered educational policies.
Also present at the engagement were Prof. George K. T. Oduro β NEF Planning Committee Chair, Hajia Dr. Saajida Shiraz β SLTF Ag. CEO, Dr. Sam Awuku β NEF Planning Committee member and Mr. Justice Sarkodie β Director SLTF.
